An atmosphere of inclusion

We’ve been told that the firm is just the right size—not so large that you are just a number, and not so small you don’t have access to lots of resources, and a voice at the table should you want one. By last count, our people speak more than 15 different languages. And we all look forward to our annual Thanksgiving meal, where many of our people bring snacks, sides and main dishes from their native country. Naan stuffing, anyone?

Community

Social responsibility is an integral part of McConnell & Jones’ value system. We are proud to partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to support youth in the local communities and encourage employees to volunteer through school supply drives, mentoring days, holiday giving, and more.

Education and Meaningful Discussion

In addition to technical training, the firm conducts all-firm and small group discussions on topics related to our values of Creativity, Inclusion, Transparency and Accountability. These are deep, meaningful, and often quite personal discussions about work, life and family—and optional if anyone is uncomfortable with such discussions. The first book in the series was Deepak Chopra’s The Soul of Leadership, which we studied over four sessions. We believe that our values are not something we merely display on the walls of our office, but in the way we treat each other, our clients and our communities every day.
