McConnell & Jones LLP is pleased to announce the selection of three practice leaders to present on the various audits performed on school districts, including financial, forensic, internal, and performance type audits at the upcoming 71st annual conference of the Texas Association of School Board Officials (TASBO) in Austin, Texas.
Partner, Marlon Williams, CPA, and directors, Gilbert Hopkins, CPA, and Darlene Brown, CIA, are slated to present to school board officials and administrative leaders on Thursday, March 2 at 9:00 am. Having performed a multitude of financial statement audits, internal audits, and school performance audits for districts of all sizes, Williams, Hopkins, and Brown provide a wealth of specialized industry knowledge to TASBO’s conference attendees. Their session, “What is an Audit and the Different Types of Audits Performed on Schools”, discusses the different scenarios which may require an audit and audit importance within school districts.
