McConnell Jones Partner Ken Gibbs to Head Firm’s Mid-Atlantic Tax Practice
McConnell Jones (MJ) is excited to announce that Ken Gibbs will now serve as the Tax leader in the Mid-Atlantic region. MJ’s Mid-Atlantic Tax practice will include our offices in Washington D.C. and Durham, North Carolina. Mr. Gibbs’ decades of experience serving clients in North Carolina, and nationally, will strengthen the D.C. office and expand the clients that McConnell Jones can reach across the entire region. “With the continued growth of our firm nationally, and particularly in D.C and Durham, Ken’s presence enables McConnell Jones to continue providing our outstanding level of client service, while also having an expanded presence in the Mid-Atlantic region” said McConnell Jones Managing Partner, Wayne McConnell. Both of MJ’s offices in this region serve clients in the governmental, nonprofit and commercial sectors, providing assurance, ERISA, tax, management advisory consulting services.

Mr. Gibbs will implement McConnell Jones’ geographic business development strategy which focuses on developing lasting relationships with clients and partnering with regional economic chambers and partnerships in the communities. “I am thrilled to lead our tax practice in the D.C. area, as well as across the Mid-Atlantic. The opportunity to bring a new perspective to new and existing business relationships is incredibly motivating,” said Mr. Gibbs.
