McConnell & Jones’ marketing coordinator, Leeandria Williams, was recently selected to serve on the board of directors of Women Exceeding, a nonprofit organization committed increasing women’s presence in leadership and entrepreneurial roles. In her board position, Williams will lead marketing initiatives for the organization including branding, event coordination, and social media strategy.
“Leeandria is a great example of an emerging leader,” said Marketing Director, Lori Jamail. “As a vital member of our firm’s marketing team, she is a highly skilled marketer and I believe Women Exceeding will benefit from her participation as a board member.”
Williams, who also serves as a guest contributor to the Women Exceeding blog, is currently a member of the Houston Interactive Marketing Association, the Association for Accounting Marketing, and the Greater Houston Black Chamber Marketing Committee. In addition to her professional roles, she also extensively participates in the Howard University Alumni Association Houston Chapter.
