McConnell & Jones LLP (MJ) is pleased to partner with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston to bring Christmas cheer to more than forty children this holiday season.
Professionals throughout the firm collected gifts and monetary donations in excess of $2,500 to sponsor forty-one children who otherwise may not receive a traditional Christmas experience.
Wayne McConnell, Managing Partner of McConnell & Jones described the experience as, “Heartwarming. In my childhood, there was no greater feeling than to wake Christmas morning and find gifts under the tree. It truly is indescribable to know that our efforts are helping to warm the hearts of so many families this Christmas.”
MJ began a community service partnership with BGCA earlier this year with the goal of providing hands on support to local clubs and ultimately helping to inspire and enable club members to reach their full potential.
“We are excited to work with Boys and Girls Club to make the holidays a little extra special for those who need some help,” said McConnell & Jones Partner, Odysseus Lanier. “We love to give back to the community throughout the year, but especially during the holidays, it is even more special.”
