McConnell Jones Adds New Partner to the Team
Chuck Kozlik Brings Decades of Governmental and Single Audit Experience

Chuck Kozlik joins McConnell Jones today as an audit partner in the Chicago region. He will work with the firm’s governmental clients across the country, which includes engagements ranging from top 10 cities to various local municipalities and institutions of higher education.
“As the firm grows its geographic footprint and its client base, we will need leaders like Chuck to help manage the increasingly complex work the firm performs with governmental, single audit and higher education clients,” said McConnell Jones Managing Partner Wayne McConnell. “Chuck’s professional experience, personal values, and career aspirations were an excellent fit for where we are on our journey, and I’m looking forward to the years ahead,” McConnell added.
Kozlik started his career at a big four firm and for the past six years has been in the State & Local government and higher education practice of a national firm’s office in the Chicago area. He brings additional experience in the Federal Audit space. Kozlik has earned designations including Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Illinois, the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland; a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM); and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
“The firm’s culture and reputation in the governmental assurance space were extremely attractive to me,” said Kozlik, an honors graduate of Marquette University. “I look forward to not only serving the firm’s current clients, but also building out the practice across the country,” Kozlik added.
