His career has been focused in the investment management and administration of qualified retirement plans in a diverse series of roles including investment advice, trust administration, recordkeeping, plan document drafting, compliance testing, product management, legal and client consultation.

Matthew has more than 16 years of private legal practice focusing exclusively on employee benefits and has represented clients in front of the DOL, IRS and PBGC. He is an active member of the Employee Benefits Committee of the American Bar Association Tax Section and currently serves as co-chair of the Defined Contribution Plans Subcommittee. He is a frequent speaker on regulatory developments, fiduciary responsibilities, and retirement readiness.
