Houston, TX — June 23, 2026 — McConnell Jones (MJ) announced the appointment of Tenesha Hartgrove, CPA, EA, CFP®, as successor managing partner of the firm’s Durham, North Carolina office, effective July 1, 2026. This appointment reinforces MJ’s strategic focus in North Carolina and its long-term commitment to the region.
Tenesha brings a client-focused leadership style centered on helping business owners better understand their financial position, make informed decisions, and plan for sustainable growth. Her experience across accounting, tax, real estate investing, information technology, and banking enables her to address the evolving challenges and opportunities organizations face.
As a native of Columbus, Ohio, Tenesha holds Associate’s degrees in Finance and Accounting, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s degree in Taxation. She is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and serves as Vice President of the Columbus Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA).
